- At the University of Toronto, anyone working with animals must be listed as an animal user on an Animal Use Protocol (AUP) approved by a Local Animal Care Committee (LACC).
- Approved users must review and follow the approved AUP and relevant SOPs listed on the AUP. Changes to the approved AUP must be submitted in amendment for LACC review and approval. Changes cannot be implemented until approved by the LACC.
