Kelsie joined the BSF in June 2016, bringing with her more than a decade of experience working in the veterinary field. She has worked with every kind of animal, from birds and reptiles, to cats and dogs, to pocket pets and even a rhino or two. Kelsie graduated from Seneca College in 2010 as a Veterinary Technician, but has been working in clinic since high school completing all sorts of tasks including cleaning kennels, educating clients, monitoring anesthesia, and much more.
Though working at the BSF is Kelsie's first experience in a research environment, she brings to the team her compassion for and knowledge of many animal species, a love of science and an affinity for learning new things. When not at work, Kelsie is the busy mother of an active toddler.
